Given in the last decades, ecological studies in many countries showed that the increasing devastating impact of anthropogenic factors on the environment brought her to the brink of crisis.

The state of environmental education in Russia does not meet the requirements of the present time. It should be noted that the obtained knowledge about nature, society, and mankind is not sufficient to build in young people a holistic understanding of the world and the modern scientific worldview.

We divide the foreign student’s characteristics into the ethno-differing(language, culture, mentality, national self-consciousness, system of values) and ethno-educational (traditional methods and measures of teaching, cognitive style, academic motivation, behavior habits, level of the acquired competences etc.). The proved principles of the nationally oriented approach are the following: the principle of ethno-pedagogical determinism, supposing education to be always oriented at the pedagogical measures natural to the representatives of the certain nation, appropriate to their traditions and socio-psychological peculiarities, formed under the influence of specific political, economic and cultural development; the principle of practical expediency, which determines the conditions to apply this specificity; principle of acculturation aims in education, that allows to interiorate the professional knowledges in terms of intercultural communication. The model of pedagogical system facilitating the foreign students’ integration into the academic environment of Russian university is projected.

Practical significance. Realization of the mentioned principles will permit to find the balance between the needs of the foreign students and the possibilities that Russian universities possess. We explain how the organizational and pedagogical conditions for foreign students can be corrected. This will permit to overcome the organizational, content, linguistic, sociocultural and other difficulties which are different for national contingents. As a result, the quality of Russian education and its popularity abroad will rise. This will help to achieve the Russian government goals to increase the number of foreign students coming to Russian universities.

Valentina V. Tarakanova, Alexander I. Romanenko, Natalia G. Solovyova. Dynamics of valuable orientations at student’s age

The value orientations that shape the subject's orientation, which largely determine the direction of the individual's social behavior in his daily activities are considered in the article. Value orientations perform an integrative role in society, forming the most stable core of the social system. Students represent not only the advanced detachment of youth, but also a highly cultured part of society, acting as an innovative reserve and potential elite of society as a whole, which accumulates in its ideas the potential for future political, cultural and economic transformations in society.  The aim. Psychological features of value orientations in young people of student age. Technique and methods. Culturological and philosophical approaches were used in understanding the relationship between subjects of the educational process and empirical methods: observation, questioning, testing.

Scientific novelty. It is noted that the value orientations in the student age are manifested in: a high level of personal values; universal human values; goal setting. Values are generally accepted ideas of people about the goals and ways of achieving them, which prescribe to them certain socially accepted ways of behavior. They form the basis of moral principles. Young people and their values are a big, complex and urgent problem. A young man needs to determine the boundaries of his real possibilities, to find out what he is capable of, to establish himself in society.
The values of young people are common ideas shared by the general part of the youth as to what is desirable, correct and useful.

Practical significance. Students of the studied universities among the terminal values put first the value of a financially secure life. In the last place, they put the values of nature and art and the value of others' happiness.

Among the instrumental values, the value of independence is significant. The least important among the instrumental values is the value of tolerance for the views and opinions of others. Among the terminal values, students put the materially secured life first, the last - the beauty of nature and art and the happiness of others.

In our work, we analyzed the problems of value orientations, examined the characteristics of value orientations of young people, and organized and conducted a study of the value orientations of young people. As a result, it was found out that there are practically no significant differences in the value orientations of the students in the universities being studied.
